Puscifer Release New Animated Video “A Public Stoning” From Album ‘Normal Isn’t’

On the 30th of March, Puscifer released their first edition of “Tales From The Pusciverse” with an animated version of their 2nd comic book edition “The Briefcase". The video shows the start of something new for the band with what they are calling ‘The Pusciverse’.
The amazingly animated comic slides for ‘A Public StoningBi’ depict the long debated tale of “What is in the briefcase?” While the story doesn’t do just that, it pushes fans to more speculation and gives us more info on the story behind the fabled Briefcase.
This story is made even better by the band's singer, Maynard James Keenen changing his name on instagram to “iamthebriefcase” some time ago to play along with the narrative of the whole ordeal.
The video itself goes through many stages, from a briefing of what seems to be military generals looking at takes of the ‘Briefcase’, that soon spills into a heated argument with the track swelling in power. To an interrogation of a man who seems to just laugh off these generals that really seems to annoy them. The whole video is a very contrasting and abstract art that uses very colourful drawing and language to convey the songs message.
This all comes as the band is midway through their North American tour before Maynard hits the European festivals this summer with A Perfect Circle. You can find more info on their tour below:
