Multi-million streaming UK collective PRESIDENT continues to carve out a space at the intersection of heavy music, electronic experimentation, and cinematic atmosphere. Since emerging in 2025 under a veil of minimalism and anonymity, the project has steadily built intrigue through a string of gripping releases and immersive live performances. Rejecting traditional ideas of genre and identity, PRESIDENT prioritises intent over image—letting the music speak for itself.

PRESIDENT unveiled the lyric video for their latest single, “MERCY,” arriving as they wrap a massive U.S. tour supporting Bad Omens and gear up for their first-ever North American headlining run. Built on expertly controlled dynamics, “MERCY” fuses haunting melodies with crushing, granite-heavy riffs and punishing breakdowns, delivering another commanding and unforgettable anthem.

Speaking on the track, PRESIDENT shared: “Throughout history, religion has been tied to profound division and loss. This song is a reflection on that reality, and a way for me to come to terms with what it means on a human level.”

The band will return to North America this fall for their “North American Campaign 2026” tour, joined by Cenobia and Showing Teeth. The run kicks off September 4 in Nashville and stretches across the U.S. and Canada before wrapping October 14 in Dallas.

“MERCY” follows the February release of “ANGEL WINGS,” a track praised by Rock Sound as “a blend of bubbling synths, spine-tingling melodies and crushing riffs.” Revolver noted how the band “refined their mix of modern metal, pop and electronic music,” while Vice highlighted PRESIDENT’s “deeply compelling style paired with a refreshingly honest approach to songwriting.”

Built to exist outside the noise, PRESIDENT are crafting something meant for deeper connection—designed to be discovered rather than sold. As the band told Revolver in a recent cover feature: “The music industry has elements of fast fashion to it these days… We wanted to step back and not be a part of that. But if people are interested, and they want to enter into this world, we’ll grab them with open arms.”
