Pop Evil Unveils New Track "Wishful Thinking" and Announces NEW Album 'What Remains'

The modern rock powerhouse POP EVIL featuring vocalist Leigh Kakaty, guitarists Dave Grahs and Nick Fuelling, bassist Joey "Chicago" Walser, and drummer Blake Allison is excited to reveal their upcoming eighth album, What Remains. The album is set to release on March 21 through MNRK. Pre-save it here.

Vocalist Leigh Kakaty tells fans, "Wishful Thinking' pushes us into a realm that's deeper, darker, and more intense than ever before"

To add on.. Kakaty shares, "There are a lot of issues and things that I've dealt with in this journey of Pop Evil that I've buried for a long time,"

My sister and some of my former friends was one of the reasons I got into the heavy metal scene and since then I have never turned back. An old friend of mine had introduced me to Pop Evil and since then I have fallen in love with their music. These guys have been absolutely crushing the music scene and it's a wonderful feeling to see these guys pop off and gain so much success. Their latest single "Wishful Thinking" has beautiful characteristics to it. For example, Kakaty's vocals and his range with his cleans and screams are INSANE. The true sense of emotion that fall into place with not just this track, but their whole discography. The lyrics give fans such a meaningful message and gives people something they can relate to. The instrumentals, especially in the breakdown are phenomenal; not going to lie, I almost started moshing in my bed! I cannot wait to hear the rest of the album and see what these talented individuals have to give!
