Paranormal investigator and TV personality Katrina Weidman has teamed up with Concept Cafes to launch her official coffee line, Possession, which made its debut at the Pennhurst Asylum Paracon & Oddities Expo on May 17–18. The event, one of the largest paranormal conventions on the East Coast, served as the perfect backdrop for the unveiling of what is being promoted as the world’s first haunted coffee. Roasted at iconic haunted locations like Dracula’s Castle and the Overlook Hotel, Possession is designed to offer fans a truly otherworldly coffee experience.
Weidman, known for her appearances on shows like Portals to Hell and Paranormal Lockdown, expressed her excitement about the project, sharing how caffeine fuels her during long nights of ghost hunting. As a longtime fan of the paranormal herself, she wanted to give others a way to bring a piece of the supernatural home. Possession blends her love of the unexplained with the everyday ritual of coffee drinking, offering both a caffeine boost and a spooky thrill.
With a strong career in paranormal media, Weidman continues to build her brand through her YouTube series Travel the Dead, alongside fellow investigator Heather Taddy. Her latest venture with Concept Cafes not only deepens her connection with fans but also adds a unique twist to the paranormal merchandise world, bridging the gap between lifestyle products and the supernatural.
Concept Cafes, meanwhile, has carved a niche by merging metal music culture with craft coffee. Collaborating with legendary bands like Cannibal Corpse and Ministry, they view coffee as an extension of artistic expression and fan devotion. The company aims to move beyond cookie-cutter coffee culture, focusing instead on bold, immersive experiences rooted in metal, horror, and authenticity—making Possession a perfect addition to their unconventional lineup.
