Orbit Culture has really set the tone for their upcoming album, Death Above Life. The band has already release two singles, including the title track for the album which releases on October 3rd. To keep the excitement rolling they have released their fourth single for the upcoming album, “Nerve”. You can watch the music video for the song here!
When asked about the song and the video, the band commented, "With 'Nerve,' we’re leaning back towards the older Orbit Culture sound, blending in cleaner choruses and a twist at the end. This track has been with us for years — we just didn't know what to do with it, especially since the verses felt a bit uncharacteristic for us. But that's exactly what we ended up loving about it. Visually, the song felt too 'larger-than-life' for a standard performance video. After years of bouncing ideas with Miles Skarin at Crystal Spotlight, we knew this was the perfect track to bring into a fully realized 3-D world."

Fans of the band will definitely appreciate what they have done with this song, especially with having two breakdowns. This metal band hailing from Sweden knows how to make some damn good music, and they are certainly a band to keep your eye on in the future. They are destined for big things. All of Orbit Culture’s previous stuff is fantastic, but this album coming out next month might just put them on the map.
The band will be playing in Japan for the first time next month, as well as embarking on a headliner tour through Europe and the UK with Gaerea and Atlas. Hopefully they tour the U.S. again… I am itching to see them playing Hydra live!
