Not Enough Space Unleashes Terror with Haunting New Single "Eye 4 An Eye" Ft. Dark Divine

On April 25th, 2025- metalcore powerhouse Not Enough Space has released a brand new collab single titled "Eye 4 An Eye" via Thriller Records. The collaboration features vocalist Anthony Martinez from the spooky, metal band Dark Divine. Not Enough Space is a metalcore band based in Florida. Members of Not Enough Space consist of Lizzie Raatma on vocals, Liv Mitchell on vocals, Tristan Laos Green on guitar, Jacob Sawyer on bass and lastly Maurice Jones on drums. As of 2024, the band has signed to Thriller Records and has released some pretty brutal singles such as the one and only "moancore" track "Primitive", as well as "Solace In Silence" and lastly "Devil Left Me On Read". If you have not heard those songs yet, you should definitely check it out.

The band shares with fans about the new track, “Our new collaboration with Anthony Martinez from Dark Divine, "Eye 4 An Eye" captures a dark and cynical energy. This song represents how our beliefs become morally corrupt when we attempt to level the playing field with vengeance and spite after trust has felt betrayed. As the lyrics unfold, it becomes clear that forgiveness is out of reach with both sides are consumed by their distorted thoughts, leaving any possibility of reconciliation in the dust.

In all honesty, this might be the best collaboration of the year in my books. I was sort of surprised but honestly it was not shocking there was a collaboration with spooky metalcore band Dark Divine. Martinez's vocalist as well as Raatma and Mitchell's vocals mix so well together and I am all here for it. The song starts off with a powerful riff and blast beat drums from Green, Sawyer and Jones. The use of pinch harmonics on the guitars left me with a stank face and it was only the first thirty seconds of the track.

During the song, we are able to get a listen to Mitchell's clean vocals and both her and Raatma vocals layered together is beautiful. The song took a turn and I honestly got confused and thought I was listening to a Poppy song but it just kept continuing to give me the chills. Martinez joins in with Raatma and Mitchell for the chorus which then is leading to the pre-breakdown. The pre-breakdown consists of whispers alongside an orchestral sound, sort of what you can hear in some movie trailers. We got hit with Martinez screaming the words in our faces on repeat "I'm keeping score", which is accompanied by a massive glitch in the vocals. The music video definitely matches the tracks intensity and goes into the themes of betrayal, spite, vengeance. You are stuck in a world where your mind has consumed you and have been associated with those who have betrayed you and are waiting on the other side for you. It's like if you were about to face the devil. Overall, this has to be one of the best releases yet to date and probably is one of my favorite tracks of Not Enough Space's discography.
