Not Enough Space Brings Brutality With New Single "Devil Left Me On Read"

On March 14th, 2025, four-piece metalcore band Not Enough Space are bringing absolute chaos and brutality with their latest single, "Devil Left Me On Read." The song has been released today via Thriller Records alongside a horrifying music video that makes you feel like you are living in a horror movie. "Devil Left Me On Read" blends hard crushing breakdowns and this world really needed a new track that is so unique and kind of has a "girly pop" appeal to it. For someone who loves gore, horror and a little bit of nostalgia; this is the song for you.

The band shares with fans:

“Our new single, "Devil Left Me On Read," is the our heaviest release yet, drawing influences from Suicide Silence and The Black Dahlia Murder to capture a fresh yet nostalgic deathcore sound. The lyrics illustrate the seven deadly sins—greed, envy, wrath, lust, sloth, gluttony, and pride—and how negative thoughts and past mistakes can lead to becoming one's own worst enemy.”

Okay I am going to just get this straight up, I absolutely LOVED this song. From the start till the end, I am OBSESSED. In a previous interview, we had the opportunity to speak with Lizzie and Liv from Not Enough Space, discussing future releases. Both girls have told us how in March, they were going to release their most heaviest song yet. They both mentioned how they are doing something nobody would expect, and let me tell you, this was not expected whatsoever.

The intro riff gives me such throwbacks to old Chelsea Grin and Bring Me The Horizon. Lizzie and Liv both show fans what they are capable of with their goblin vocals, lows and highs and this might honestly be the best metal vocals I've seen all year so far. Also, can we just talk about the BREAKDOWN?!? Liv absolutely hit fans with this brutal, nasty, horrifying breakdown and I was NOT expecting to hear what I have heard. If you have not yet listened or checked this song out, PLEASE DO. The production along with the instrumentals from guitarist Tristian Kaos Green, bassist Jacob Sawyer and drummer Maurice Jones, these talented men know how to write and I am all here for it. This four piece metalcore band is going to make it big in the scene and I am so excited to see their success.

The music video delivers fans absolute menace and chaos. It sort of reminds me of being trapped and stuck living in a horror movie. The scenery reminds me of watching the original 'Saw' movie and its aesthetic reminds me of vintage horror films from the early 2000's. Watching Lizzie holding guts and Liv being tied up with blood pouring out of her mouth is honestly terrifying. The music video captures being ignored by the devil and with it's macabre, horror vibes, it seems like they are trying to complete a ritual in a cult to save themselves from the nightmares.
