Noah Kahan is stepping into the world of Panem with "Draw You Out," the lead single from The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping (The Album). The new song arrives October 2 and was written specifically for the upcoming The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping film.

The track can be pre-saved ahead of its release, while the full soundtrack will arrive November 13 through MCA, one week before The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping hits theaters worldwide on November 20, 2026.

For "Draw You Out," Noah Kahan reunited with GRAMMY-winning producer Aaron Dessner, who co-wrote and co-produced the song with Kahan. Recording took place at Long Pond Studio in New York as well as Gold Pacific Studios and East Iris Studios in Nashville.

Rather than functioning as a conventional movie soundtrack, The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping (The Album) brings together 29 artists from across multiple genres, with the songs created specifically for the film and exclusive to the album. The project is executive produced by GRAMMY-winning producer Dave Cobb, known for their work with artists including Chris Stapleton and Sturgill Simpson. The album's tracklist moves across a wide range of sounds while incorporating recurring themes and imagery connected to the world of The Hunger Games.

For Noah Kahan, "Draw You Out" marks another step into a new phase of his career following the release of his fourth studio album, The Great Divide, through Mercury Records.

The Vermont singer-songwriter has built a global audience through a combination of emotionally direct songwriting and genre-spanning production. Kahan has accumulated nearly 20 billion global streams, sold more than 19 million albums worldwide, earned 24 RIAA Platinum and Gold certifications, and sold more than two million concert tickets.

His breakthrough came with Stick Season, which transformed Noah Kahan into a global star. The 4x RIAA Platinum album and its 8x RIAA Platinum title track became major international successes, with the album remaining a fixture on the charts years after its release. The success of Stick Season led Kahan to launch The Busyhead Project in 2023, a mental health nonprofit that has raised $13 million to support greater awareness and access surrounding mental health.

Kahan's latest album, The Great Divide, continues his focus on personal storytelling while exploring themes of fame, family, identity, distance, and relationships. The album was produced by Gabe Simon and Aaron Dessner and became another major commercial milestone, debuting at No. 1 in the United States and multiple international markets. The release of The Great Divide was also accompanied by Noah Kahan: Out of Body, a Netflix documentary that received the 2026 SXSW Film Festival 24 Beats Per Second Audience Award.

While "Draw You Out" introduces Kahan's music to another cinematic universe, the song also connects with the storytelling approach that has remained central to his career. His ability to turn personal experiences into emotionally recognizable songs has helped establish a relationship with listeners that extends well beyond individual releases.

THE HUNGER GAMES: SUNRISE ON THE REAPING

Directed by Francis Lawrence, The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping takes audiences back to Panem 24 years before the events of the original The Hunger Games story.

The film follows 16-year-old Haymitch Abernathy, played by Joseph Zada, on the morning of the reaping for the 50th Hunger Games, also known as the Second Quarter Quell. Unlike previous Games, the event doubles the number of tributes forced into the arena.

Once selected, Haymitch forms an unlikely alliance with fellow District 12 tribute Maysilee Donner, played by Mckenna Grace. As the Games unfold, the pair become part of a larger effort to challenge the Capitol's control under President Snow, portrayed by Ralph Fiennes.

The film is based on Suzanne Collins' bestselling novel and also features Jesse Plemons, Glenn Close, Kieran Culkin, Elle Fanning, Maya Hawke, Whitney Peak, and Kelvin Harrison Jr.

Nina Jacobson, Brad Simpson, and Francis Lawrence serve as producers, with the screenplay written by Billy Ray and Michael Lesslie.

The The Hunger Games franchise has become a global blockbuster since the release of the original film series. The five films released to date have collectively generated more than $3.3 billion at the worldwide box office, while the franchise has expanded into theme park attractions, live experiences, and a major stage production.

With The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping approaching its theatrical release, The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping (The Album) provides another way for the story to expand beyond the screen. Led by "Draw You Out," the soundtrack brings together an unusually broad group of artists while creating music specifically tied to the newest chapter in the franchise.
