Metal titans Machine Head has recently announced a massive North American tour for 2025, with support from Italian metal icons Lacuna Coil, Swedish melodic death metal band In Flames, and American metalcore group Unearth. Giving fans a taste of what’s to come, Machine Head released the track “These Scars Won’t Define Us”, an explosive collaboration of all 4 bands on the tour lineup. Watch the lyric video HERE.
“These Scars Won’t Define Us” is a heavy, energy-filled track that would appeal to any metal fan. With different vocalists from each of the collaborating bands on the track, the song is truly a force as it features the seamless blending of these vocals. The song also features an intricate guitar solo and melodic riffs, complementing the lyrical theme of overcoming adversity at all costs.

Additionally, this tour will come shortly after the release of Lacuna Coil’s upcoming album, “Sleepless Empire”, which is set to release on February 14th. The record illustrates a dark, cinematic world, and further proves Lacuna Coil’s status as metal icons. The band stated: "'Sleepless Empire' captures, through our eyes, the chaos of a generation trapped in a digital world that never stops, where social media consumes identity and every day pushes us one step closer to becoming soulless zombies. We find ourselves in between, having witnessed a full analogic world and the modern one, confronting the evolution and searching for a true meaning of it all.
