New Album Announced for Horrorscape Group AITIS BAND + New Single/Music Video "Screenplay"

ree

Some find horror films to be unwatchable, and some find AITIS BAND to be unlistenable. It all comes down to a matter of taste, doesn’t it? Since the band’s inception in 2019, this trio has set out to perform these sonically unnerving tracks to the masses. Where the easy route would be to put this music out strictly digitally, Aitis Band rose to the challenge of configuring a live setup. They have toured with many interesting combinations of artists, all with the true spirit of experimentation in common. If you have heard the song that the band Boy Harsher put out for Halloween Ends, seen an Ice Nine Kills show, or read the lyric sheet from a Calabrese album, you will understand the similarities and that there is a market for the various stylings of horror-themed music. Keep an eye out for Aitis band show announcements, as they will be one that you will not want to miss.

This band is one of the most unique ones around, composed of unique sound and embedded with conceptual artistry. The music video for Aitis's "Screenplay" is a short horror film directed by Jennifer Reeder, who is a Shudder app household name, and a master of psychological and horrific short and feature films. This collaboration can be described as a perfect pairing; like peanut butter is to jelly or like seasoned flesh is to a Jeffrey Dahmer. This music video gives Carrie vibes, yes the cult classic from the one-of-a-kind mind of Brian De Palma. The band pays homage to occult and classic horror cinema with this new track and video combination. The video is centered around an actor who wanders his way into a bloody scene. “Screenplay” is gruesome, bold, and beautiful in its execution. Dare I say, you will need to watch the video to learn more.
