New 156/Silence Album 'From A Distance' Out September 4

156/Silence announced their sixth album “From A Distance” out on September 4, via Pure Noise Records. Alongside this announcement, the atmospheric metalcore powerhouse quintet has also released the video for “No Arms”, the first single from the upcoming album. According to the band, “No Arms” is a song about feeling alone and with no control over various situations, until someone comes to help.

"'No Arms' is about being without a way to protect yourself and what belongs to you. Being alone and afraid, not having any means to control the situations that befall on us. The overwhelming feeling of being helpless until we’re not. Until somebody saves us."

The new upcoming album “From A Distance” will be the band’s first release via Pure Noise Records and it’s meant to feel like a spiritual successor of their previous album “People Watching”. It pushes their sound into a more emotionally and immersive territory, blending introspection with a confident sense of purpose.

Following their last week on the Mercia Tour with Thornhill, Fox Lake and Vianova, 156/Silence will embark on a short run of headlining shows in the U.S., between May 30 and June 7. The band is also scheduled to perform at Inkcarceration Festival 2026, followed by the It’s Not You, It’s Me Tour with Chiodos, sace6 and Calva Louise.
