NYC based alternative rock duo, Moonfall, deliver a captivating new single, Petrichor, following their Resonance of Autumn EP release.
Moonfall have shown no signs of slowing down with their releases and continue to make thought provoking and mesmerizing music while remaining true to their inspirations ranging from j-rock, pop, alternative rock, and classical compositions.
Petrichor, defined as the scent of rain on dry soil, begins with a soft vocal melody that slowly emerges and envelops the listener as the song progresses. Moonfall does so by using their tried and true guitar and bass parts blended with orchestral arrangements to encapsulate the emotions being conveyed by the track without any instrument overshadowing another.
Moonfall are expected to release a Winter EP in the coming days as shown by their two most recent releases, Hallucination of Summer, an energetic upbeat release, and Resonance of Autumn, a more somber and morose release.
