German metal band League of Distortion has released their new single “Chainsaw” from their second studio album “Galvanize”, releasing on October 25th via Napalm Records. With powerful vocals from frontwoman Anna “Ace” Brunner, bold lyrics, and fiery riffs, the song makes a captivating listen for any metal fan. Through “Chainsaw”, League of Distortion tackles the prevalent issues of greed, abuse of power, and all other forms of injustice, and how they want to change the world for the better. The music video captures the essence of the song’s message through a vintage horror movie atmosphere, further instilling hope and rebellion in listeners.

About the track, the band has said: “Our new single ‘CHAINSAW’ cuts deep with its unapologetic commentary on the brutality of life, injustice, and karma. It channels our rage and frustration of living in a world where greed and hypocrisy reign. The song serves as both a warning and a catharsis — reminding us that vengeance and consequence are inevitable. League of Distortion entered the scene two years ago with their electrifying self-titled debut album. Their unique style and sound put a new creative twist on modern metal, which has commenced their success. Since then, they have performed at major festivals such as Metalfest, Rock Harz, Baltic Open Air, Castle Rock, and Summer Breeze. They also shared the stage with influential bands such as Kissin’ Dynamite, Caliban on their German tour, and Kamelot on their European tour. This winter, League of Distortion will embark on their first ever headlining tour.
