On Sunday, August 17, the Moody Center played host to Band Together Texas, a powerful benefit concert led by country superstars Miranda Lambert and Parker McCollum. The event not only filled the arena with music and community spirit but also reached fans around the world through livestreams on iHeartRadio, SiriusXM, YouTube, Facebook, and nugs.net. Proceeds from the night supported Central Texas flood recovery efforts, benefitting The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country and the Central Texas Community Foundation.

The show was broadcast live across all 150 iHeartRadio country stations and on SiriusXM’s The Highway and Outlaw Country channels. Thanks to streaming support from H-E-B, fans at home were able to join in on YouTube, Facebook, and nugs.net, extending the event’s impact far beyond Austin.

In addition to Lambert and McCollum, the stage welcomed an all-star roster of Texas talent. Performances from Ryan Bingham, Wade Bowen, Ronnie Dunn, Dylan Gossett, Jack Ingram, Cody Johnson, Lyle Lovett, Lukas Nelson, Jon Randall, and the Randy Rogers Band made the evening a true celebration of the state’s musical legacy.

One of the night’s standout moments came when Miranda Lambert joined Cody Johnson for a fiery duet that had the crowd on its feet. Parker McCollum’s heartfelt performance of “Burn It Down” drew thunderous applause, while Lyle Lovett and Lukas Nelson delivered a stirring collaboration that highlighted the depth and diversity of Texas music. By the time the Randy Rogers Band closed the evening with a rousing singalong, the entire arena was buzzing with energy, unity, and pride.

The night also featured appearances from some of Texas’ most recognizable figures, including Matthew McConaughey, Dennis Quaid, Roger Clemens, Mack Brown, Emmanuel Acho, Colt McCoy, Vince Young, Chris Harrison, and Kendra Scott. Their presence underscored the collective spirit of the event, which honored both first responders and flood victims with moving tributes and stories of resilience.

With its star-studded lineup, emotional performances, and broad-reaching livestream, Band Together Texas stood as a testament to the strength of the Texas community. Beyond raising funds, the concert brought people together—onstage, in the audience, and across the globe—to support recovery, healing, and hope.
