Divedown introduces a strong sound within the Melbourne alternative community, focusing on alternative rock genres. The band comprises Michael Romeo (guitarist), Josh Godwin (bassist), Sam Bianco (vocals and guitar) and Tim Irwin (drummer). Their signing with Ninth Life Records, accentuates the beginning of their official sound, marking a major minestrone within the band.
“All for what” explores the underlayers of heartbreak, processing and reflecting upon the sudden change and the stages of grief that come into play. In terms of musical expression, it carries a deeper sense of their previous sound, really extenuating the emotions behind this song, by exploring more powerful ways to introduce new experiences. Divedown expresses their feelings behind making this single, "Like 'I’ve been up for too long / and I’ve been writing senseless thoughts down' is about that feeling of questioning things you already know the answer to. And 'do I still need you?' even though you’re aware you’ve already moved past it."
Divedown are officially ready to release a new era, followed by more to come, “All For What” is out now, on all platforms via Ninth Life Records.
