This year will mark 20 years for the pop punk legends Mayday Parade and they will be celebrating with a North American tour this spring called Three Cheers For Twenty Years. The tour will see the band performing a career spanning set, featuring popular fan favorite hits, deep cuts and even new music. The spring trek will begin on April 22nd in St. Petersburg, Florida and will wrap up on June 7th in the band's home town of Tallahassee, Florida and will also see Microwave, Grayscale, and Like Roses serving as support. The tour will be making a stop in New York City on May 28th where they will play a headlining set at the famous summer venue, The Rooftop at Pier 17.
The Rooftop at Pier 17 is a favorite stop for spring and summer tours. With a stage on the roof and an incredible view of the Brooklyn Bridge, it is the ideal spot for a summer show. The Rooftop at Pier 17 has hosted many events in the pop punk/emo scene like the inaugural Sad Summer Festival tour in 2019 which also featured Mayday Parade, Yellowcard on their Celebrating 20 Years of Ocean Avenue Tour and two-sold out Pierce The Veil shows in 2023. Now, after having appeared at The Rooftop at Pier 17 as a support act and as part of Sad Summer Festival 3 times, Mayday Parade will be making their return with their own headlining performance as part of their 20th anniversary tour.

“This tour is the culmination of the band's career for the past 20 years, and as such, we really wanted to go all out and provide our fans with a memorable and very special experience. We will be celebrating our deep music catalog starting at this band's inception and continuing with our new releases this year. We are all very proud of what we've done, and when I say we, I mean the five of us, our crew – touring, production, and administrative – and, most importantly, you, the fans." - Guitarist Alex Garcia
This monumental news comes just after the band's announcement of their new album, Sweet, which will arrive on April 18th. Sweet is set to be part 1 of a three-part album that the band will be releasing this year. It is the result of the Mayday Parade's evolution since forming in 2005. So far, the band has released three singles off of the upcoming release, "Towards You", "By The Way" and "Pretty Good To Feel Something".
