Manchester Orchestra have released Union Chapel, London, England, a collection of 21 songs captured during a completely sold-out, three-night run at London’s iconic Union Chapel in autumn 2023. Throughout the set, Andy Hull and Robert McDowell revisited and reinterpreted many fan favorites, stripping them back to their emotional core. The recording showcases a unique synergy between the venue and the performance, with Hull’s powerful vocals intertwining with McDowell’s delicate string work and subtle harmonies.
Union Chapel, London, England includes tracks from The Valley of Vision (2023), A Black Mile to the Surface (2017), The Million Masks of God (2021) and Mean Everything to Nothing (2009). The first two songs that were released from this collection were “The Silence” and “The Grocery”.
“I figured the best way to release ‘Union Chapel, London, England’ is just to give it to you here. A thank you for all of your kind words and love that you've given us and for the support that we are so deeply grateful for.”
Andy Hull, Manchester Orchestra
Union Chapel, London, England is available in a 2xCD format with an 8-page roll-fold booklet and as a 2LP translucent Sea Blue or opaque Silver vinyl.
