Mac Sabbath's 10th Anniversary Tour Hits Nashville, TN

Mac Sabbath played at Eastside Bowl in Nashville, TN on August 24th. 2024 alongside Spaceman Bob and Tejon Street Corner Thieves.

Mac Sabbath is one of those bands where you wonder what they were smoking when they came up with the concept. Hailing from another dimension to save the human race from bad rock and roll and bad food. Mac Sabbath consists of Ronald Osborne, lead vocalist and grill master, Slayer MacCheeze on guitar, Grimalice on bass, and the Catburgalar on drums.

The curtains opened as the PA system roared to life announcing Mac Sabbath's arrival and that they have come to protect us from Monsanto and the evils of GMOs and artificial foods. Donning the snazziest of suits, the band made their way to the stage as they laid out the opening notes to "Black Sandwich".

The band tore away their suits to reveal their usual stagewear. Ronald fired up the grill and began to prepare some "burgers". The Ronald heads on either side of the stage began to bellow smoke, and their laser eyes pierced the audience. Ronald's reimagined lyrics to Black Sabbath's "Electric Funeral" tell of bleach buns, synthetic dyes, and fried poisons that are only legal in the U.S.A.

Ronald also cooked several rubber chickens to the song "Chicken for the Slaves" another song that tells of the horrors of American fast food.

I love Mac Sabbath's stage shenanigans. From frying chickens to crowd surfing on a burger, this band is a top ten in concert for me! Do yourself a favor and head to the drive-thru of your local venue and catch a show.

This tour celebrates ten YEARS of Mac Sabbath. I hope for many more years of drive-thru metal insanity!
