Lorna Shore are heading back to Australia in October 2026 for their biggest headline tour in the region so far, and for the first time ever they'll also be performing in New Zealand. Joining them on the Australian dates will be fellow American deathcore heavyweights Whitechapel, while The Acacia Strain will support the entire Australian and New Zealand run. New Zealand fans will also get a special opening set from local death metal act Organectomy.

The tour kicks off in Melbourne on October 16 before making stops in Adelaide, Perth, Sydney, and Brisbane. After wrapping up the Australian leg, Lorna Shore will cross the Tasman for shows in Wellington and two nights in Auckland.

Over the last 15 years, Lorna Shore have grown into one of the most influential names in modern deathcore. Since forming in 2009, they've built a reputation for blending extreme heaviness with melody, emotion, and cinematic songwriting. Albums like Immortal, the breakthrough EP ...And I Return To Nothingness, and the powerful vocals of Will Ramos helped push the band from underground favorites to an internationally recognized force. Their latest album, I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me, has only strengthened that reputation.

Known for their explosive live performances, Lorna Shore have shared stages with major metal acts such as Mastodon, Gojira, and Parkway Drive, while also appearing at festivals including Knotfest, Wacken Open Air, Download Festival, and Hellfest. Their first Australian headline tour in 2025 sold out completely, and their appearances at Good Things Festival further cemented their popularity with local fans.

Supporting them on Australian dates are Whitechapel, one of the pioneering bands of the deathcore genre. Formed in Tennessee in 2006, Whitechapel have spent nearly two decades delivering crushing music and evolving their sound while maintaining the brutality that made them famous. With nine studio albums and countless tours alongside some of metal's biggest names, they remain one of the genre's most respected acts.

The Acacia Strain will also be along for the entire tour. Having spent more than 20 years crafting their unique blend of deathcore, hardcore, sludge, and metalcore, the Massachusetts band continue to be a dominant force in heavy music. Their intense live shows and relentless touring schedule have earned them a devoted global following, and they'll be bringing that energy to audiences across Australia and New Zealand.

With three powerhouse bands on the lineup, this tour is shaping up to be one of the biggest extreme metal events of 2026. Fans can expect massive crowds, crushing performances, and an unforgettable experience when Lorna Shore return to Australia and make their long-awaited New Zealand debut.
