Spite has been killing the deathcore game lately with their two latest singles, “Lights Out” and “New World Killer”. Their latest album shares the same name as the second single and will be released on Halloween. Ahead of the release in two weeks, the band has shared their third single, “Looking Glass”. The band released a visualizer for the song, which you can watch here!
The song is loaded with emotion, and lead singer Darius Tehrani shares the meaning behind it, stating, “This song is about coping with the passing of my father. Being robbed of grief and carrying an anger with nowhere to go. I'm grateful Matt McDougal was able to sing on such an important song with me."
Matt McDougal of Boundaries is featured on this song, and truly, this feels like the perfect feature. McDougal’s parts feel like a call and answer to Tehrani’s, and the contrast of their voices makes for the perfect tribute to Tehrani’s father.

If you are a fan of Spite, you are going to love this song. This has the same aggression as all their other songs, while also dealing with a tough topic. The band handles this matter in such a wonderful way. This song was the perfect single to release before the album in two weeks. This is the perfect song to hold fans over until October 31st.
