Lil Yachty is back with a brand new single titled ‘Murda’. Paired with it is a visually intriguing music video. Directed by AMD and Little Myles, the video has some awesome cinematography techniques that follows Yachty and two other women in some unique setups. There’s one shot of all three with their eyes closed in different ways while Yachty is firing a gun at a shooting range, while another shot features Yachty holding a bag with a never ending stream of cash getting sucked into it. There’s also several shots of him vibing in different dim hallways with synchronized lights while he lays out his delivery of the lyrics. The video also showcases the fashion sense Yachty always brings out in the visual limelight.
Released under Lyrical Lemonade, the song is rooted in a vocal sample by the one and only Maggie Rogers. Contrasting it are some introspective words that Yachty brings to the table reflecting on actions that he and others have done, and questioning what may come going forward. This new single released fresh after Yachty finished his recent run he had as direct support of Tyler, the Creator’s Chromakopia World Tour. The single is a vibe of its own, and is an unquestionable addition to fans' summer rotations and playlists. You can listen to the new track ‘Murda’ here.
