LANDMVRKS Brings The Chaos To New York City's Irving Plaza

ree

On September 16th, 2025- French metalcore titans Landmvrks performed at New York City’s Irving Plaza with special guests SIlly Goose and Novelists. This tour marks as the first North American headlining tour Landmvrks has performed at.

First to take the stage was Silly Goose. Silly Goose is a nu-metal band based out of Atlanta,Georgia. The band consists of vocalist Jackson Foster, guitarist Ian Binion, bassist Yalli Alvarez and drummer Alan Benikhis. Silly Goose unleashes the power of late 90’s rap rock and nu metal with a modern day twist. Silly Goose gained endless attention from mainstream media with their impromptu parking lot shows after festivals. Their most iconic being their post Lollapalooza set at a gas station in Chicago where Foster was arrested even though the group had permission to play there. The dedicated Silly Goose fanbase rallied together and raised over $7,000 for legal fees and eventually the charges were dropped. Silly Goose’s raw high power energy draws in the raucous crowds that make their shows a true nu metal experience. Songs such as “Keys To The City”, “King Of The Hill” and “Bad Behavior” ignite the crowd. Fans crowd surfed and moshed all set while wearing Silly Goose merch with Foster’s mugshot on it. The band called for a wall of death to finish their set and it was a memorable one. Their motto “Rock With The Goose” is no joke as this band will soon take over the scene and sell out large venues.

Once Silly Goose finished their set, the room began to fill in more. Coming from Paris, France is metalcore band Novelists. The band currently comprises vocalist Camille Contreras, guitarists Florestan Durand and Pierre Danel, bassist Nicolas Delestrade and drummer Amado Durand. In May of this year, the band dropped their album ‘Coda’ via ACKOR Music. This album was the first release the band has made since Contreras joined the band as front woman and honestly her vocals are absolutely beautiful. The lights went dim and fans were filling the room with their voices and next thing I saw was the band all running out on stage with smiles on their faces. Recently I’ve discovered that in France, the New York Yankees are really popular with their fashion style and I noticed that Contreras was wearing a buret with the New York Yankees logo on it. The band kicked off their set with “All For Nothing”, which is a fan favorite track off their latest album. Fans were left in shock by the band’s stage performance and my ears were left ringing.

Novelists continued their set with the title track off their album ‘Coda’ and fans were told to start dancing and the movement I saw from the people on the barricade was the cutest thing I’ve ever seen and honestly felt like I was at a dance party. Novelists got the crowd booming with their staple closing song “Turn It Up (Keyboard Warriors Social Club). The fans sang along to an incredibly infectious and catchy chorus that had the whole room on their feet. The vibes continued to be immaculate especially when Contreras demanded the crowd to make a wall of death. She yelled for everyone to make room and the fans did. They followed her lead and created chaos. Fans got their last crowd surfs in before the song was over. Contreras and the band thanked the crowd for an incredible evening and stated they cannot wait to be back in one of their favorite cities.

The last band to take the stage was our headliner Landmvrks. Landmvrks is a metalcore band from Marseille, France. The band currently consists of members Florentino “Flo” Salfati, guitarists Nicolas Exposito and Paul Cordebard, bassist Rudy Purkat and lastly drummer Kevin D’Agostino. Landmvrks is currently signed to Arising Empire and have toured with bands such as Imminence, Fit For a King and The Devil Wears Prada. Landmvrks takes the modern metalcore style and fuses it with elements of djent, nu metal and hardcore punk. Landmvrks has released four studio albums the most recent being “The Darkest Place I’ve Ever Been” which was released on April 25th. The record features hit songs such as “Creature”, “Sulfur” and “A Line In The Dust” which featured Mat Welsh of While She Sleeps.

Landmvrks currently has 960,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and the number continues to grow with each tour and release. Landmvrks kicked off their set with “Creature”. The band takes the stage in the dim light and Salfati begins rapping in rapid French which leads up to him and the whole crowd yelling “I AM THE CREATURE”. The pit split open and fans spun in a circle to the extremely fast instrumentals. The energy from the blast beats from D’Agostino were infectious. The energy turned up when Salfati asked the crowd to crowd surf for their song “Blistering”. The dozens of crowd surfers on top of the moshing made the pit look like a warzone. I was stuck on the side of the photo pit because of all the crowd surfers coming over the barricade. It was impossible to move, but it was worth watching. Fans sang along to the whole song until the breakdown. Exposito and Cordebard ripped a sashing breakdown followed by a bouncy riff to end the song. There was more this performance besides heavy music and massive mosh pits.

Halfway through the set the lights went out and a mini break was taken. Following a large board wheeled on stage. It seemed quite random at first, but Salfati was the lone member coming back on stage. Salfati has a love for graffiti art as much as he does for music. The song “Sombre 16” played over the speakers and the aforementioned board was a canvas and Salfati created graffiti art along with the song. He drew a giant “V” which seemed to represent the V in the band name. The energy switched on a dime when they played “Say No Word”. The energy was through the roof until the energy flipped again for a moment. The band went acoustic for a moment to the song “Suffocate”. Fans had their phone lights up as the band and crowd sang cohesively until in true Landmvrks fashion, it went electric and heavy. The best moments were yet to come. Landmvrks played their most popular song “Lost In a Wave” which has over 35 million streams on spotify. This song features one of their greatest breakdowns. A massive breakdown callout chanted by the crowd led into absolute mayhem. Fans spin kicked and played ninja until the end of the song. It was a memorable moment for their first NYC headliner.

Landmvrks ended their set with “Self Made Black Hole” a song that features Resolve who were supposed to be playing tonight, but could not make the start of tour due to visa complications. This song brings out the best of Landmvrks in all aspects. Salfati and the whole band demanded the floor to split from side to side, front to back. It was the crowd's last chance to unleash hell. On Salfati’s mark, the crowd ran into each other full force and brought the violence. The crowd took over the last chorus and took the waning moments to crowd surf. The band thanked the crowd for an incredible first headliner in one of their favorite cities to play in the whole world. Landmvrks next endeavor will be headlining Europe with support from Underoath, Pain Of Truth and Split Chain in December followed up by a run supporting Architects in Europe along with President.
