Knuckle Puck Share New Single "Nice to Know Ya"

Chicago-based pop punk group Knuckle Puck have released their raw, high-energy new single “Nice to Know Ya”. This follows their previous track “On All Cylinders”, which was the beginning of a new era for the band. Stream the new track HERE or watch the official video HERE.

“Nice to Know Ya”, lyrically, is a song about letting someone go after they consistently complicated the narrator’s life, even when the narrator is already dealing with other pressures. It showcases Knuckle Puck’s classic pop punk style, but it also features a spoken word verse that elevates the emotion of the track, where the listener can easily hear the frustration of the narrator as he has to keep a straight face in front of others despite mentally not doing well. The track is a great piece of musical storytelling and fans can be excited to see what Knuckle Puck has in store next.

The band shares: "When writing ‘Nice to Know Ya’, we tried to take an older approach by keeping it as out-of-the-box as we could. This includes uglier chords, a spoken verse, and push-pull lyrics to match the juxtaposition of the verse and chorus. One of our goals for this band originally was to keep the listener guessing with our songwriting, something we are excited to bring back with this song."
