A few days after the release of their new album This Consequence, the three-time Grammy-nominated metalcore powerhouse Killswitch Engage released the official music video for their track “Collusion”, which is from the latest record. Get the album HERE, and watch the video below.
The video is a cinematic experience portraying the effects of authoritarianism, with oligarchs trying to keep working class people docile. The message of the heavy-hitting track details this exact corruption among those in power, and how regular people have the power to not succumb to billionaires’ messaging and revolt.
"'Collusion' is about the struggle between people in power and the common people," explains vocalist Jesse Leach. "It speaks about the propaganda and divisiveness used to keep us in control. It's about the ruthlessness of the ruling class who use wealth to raise, manipulate, and destroy empires at their will."
He finishes, "I wish for people to use discernment and intellect to read between the lines. My hope is to instill a desire for analysis and critical thinking amidst the current rigged and corrupt forms of governments the world over."

Killswitch Engage is also hitting the road for their North American tour this month, beginning March 5 in Nashville, TN and ending on April 12 in Portland, ME.
