Kellin Quinn, the frontman and vocalist of post-hardcore band Sleeping With Sirens just announced details from his new solo project titled Haunted Mouths. The project will be releasing its debut album titled A Collection of Greetings. Kellin also released the music video for the track Meanwhile.
Kellin Quinn has one of the most recognizable voices in all of rock music which is often met with hard hitting instrumentation and deep lyrics regarding many struggles that one deals with in their day to day lives. That heavy crunchy guitar deliverance takes a backseat with this project and what stands in its place this time is a welcoming and comforting chill vibe of dark synthwave, bedroom pop, and lo-fi. This style being paired with the soothing delivery from Kellin’s vocals creates a blissful ambience that is sure to please and perhaps pleasantly surprise fans of his. We see an even more vulnerable side of Quinn lyrically delving into even more personal topics in his life that he has been less elaborated on in prior Sleeping With Sirens records.
Joining Quinn on this project is fellow collaborator Aaron Marsh who produces and co-writes this entire project. This project is sure to be an exciting and intriguing listen for people who are already accustomed to this style of the scene with softer instrumentation as well as the loyal fans that remain hungry for more and more Kellin Quinn material.
