New album features Ty Dolla $ign, Muni Long, D Smoke, Lekan, RAAHiiM, and a special Bob Marley sample

Grammy-nominated and six-time Juno Award-winning singer-songwriter Jessie Reyez has officially released her fourth studio album, A LITTLE VENGEANCE, available now via FMLY/Island Records. Arriving as one of her most emotionally charged and sonically ambitious projects to date, the album showcases Reyez at her most fearless, transforming heartbreak, growth, and self-reflection into a collection of powerful anthems that resonate long after the final track.
Known for her raw honesty and unmistakable voice, Reyez takes listeners on a deeply personal journey through the complexities of love, loss, and healing. A LITTLE VENGEANCE explores the emotional aftermath of relationships through stories of longing, accountability, empowerment, and self-discovery. Balancing explosive, high-energy records with intimate and vulnerable ballads, the album captures every stage of emotional recovery with the unfiltered storytelling that has become Reyez’s trademark.
Structured around three carefully placed interludes that guide listeners through distinct emotional chapters, the project features an impressive lineup of collaborators including Ty Dolla $ign, Muni Long, D Smoke, Lekan, and RAAHiiM, while also incorporating a memorable Bob Marley sample that bridges generations of musical influence. Together, the album presents a compelling narrative of navigating love’s lasting impact while finding strength in moving forward.
Speaking about the album, Reyez shared her signature blend of humor and honesty:
"Just a PSA, this album is not a sign for you to message your ex. If you are going through something, this is a sign for you to mourn it properly so that you do not go back and try and save the dead. You can miss something and still leave it alone. If your ex was actually nice and you were the one in the wrong, then maybe it is a sign to apologize—but only after you've done the work and learned the lesson. Otherwise, just vibe, cry, and leave people alone."
The album release coincides with another milestone moment in Reyez’s career. On June 12th, she returned to her hometown of Toronto to perform at the FIFA World Cup 2026 Opening Ceremony alongside Palestinian singer-songwriter Elyanna. The pair will deliver a special performance of their collaborative anthem, “Illuminate,” introducing millions of viewers around the world to a celebration of unity, culture, and music on one of the globe’s biggest stages.

Her participation in the opening ceremony follows the recent release of “I DARE YOU (TASTY),” her collaboration with legendary producer Boi-1da. The track further solidified Reyez’s role as one of Canada’s most influential contemporary voices, helping showcase the country’s diverse musical landscape to a global audience.
Beyond the music, Reyez continues to expand her impact through philanthropy and community engagement. Alongside the release of A LITTLE VENGEANCE, she is officially launching the Jessie Reyez Fund in partnership with PLUS1, the nonprofit organization that empowers artists to create meaningful social change through their communities.
The fund is dedicated to increasing access to opportunities within the music industry for women and historically underrepresented groups, while supporting initiatives focused on education, cultural preservation, wellness, and community development. Early efforts have already begun through select tour partnerships and charitable initiatives, including a collaboration with Nando’s that resulted in the donation of more than 500 meals. With the fund now officially launched, Reyez plans to continue leveraging music as a vehicle for empowerment, connection, and long-term impact.
Leading up to the album’s release, Reyez offered fans an emotional preview through a series of standout singles. The introspective “UR HEARTBEAT (WHO DO U THINK ABOUT AT 2AM?)” showcased her vulnerability and lyrical depth, while “AIN’T U TIRED” featuring Muni Long delivered a breathtaking blend of soulful harmonies and heartfelt reflection. Earlier release “N.Y.F.F.” highlighted the opposite end of the emotional spectrum, serving as a sharp and unapologetic response to betrayal and dishonesty.
Together, these tracks introduced the central themes that define A LITTLE VENGEANCE—the delicate balance between tenderness and retaliation, grief and growth, heartbreak and healing.
The album follows a remarkably productive period for Reyez. Earlier this year, she surprised fans with $TILL PAID, a five-track companion EP celebrating her acclaimed 2025 album PAID IN MEMORIES. The project included a remix featuring BRIT Award-winning rapper Stormzy and arrived on the heels of her sold-out PAID IN MEMORIES world tour and the release of Words of a Goat Princess II: The People's Purge, the second installment in her USA Today bestselling poetry series.
PAID IN MEMORIES marked a defining chapter in Reyez’s artistic evolution. Featuring more than 20 tracks and collaborations with Ari Lennox, Big Sean, Miguel, Lil Yachty, 6LACK, Lil Wayne, and Deyaz, the album demonstrated her ability to move effortlessly between R&B, hip-hop, alternative, and pop influences. Songs such as “GOLIATH,” “NYB,” “PSILOCYBIN & DAISIES,” and viral favorite “CUDN’T B ME” further showcased her dynamic vocal range and deeply personal songwriting.
Over the course of her career, Jessie Reyez has established herself as one of the most distinctive voices in modern music. Her fearless lyricism, emotional transparency, and genre-defying artistry have earned praise from publications including Rolling Stone, The New Yorker, Billboard, The New York Times, People, Harper’s Bazaar, and GRAMMY.com.
In addition to her success as a recording artist, Reyez has become one of the industry's most sought-after songwriters, contributing records for artists such as Dua Lipa, Sam Smith, Kehlani, LISA of BLACKPINK, and Calvin Harris. Her accolades include Billboard Canada’s Women in Music Trailblazer Award, TikTok’s Visionary Voice recognition, multiple platinum-certified singles, and a Grammy-winning contribution to the Bob Marley: One Love soundtrack.
With A LITTLE VENGEANCE, Reyez enters a bold new chapter—one defined by artistic freedom, emotional honesty, and a continued commitment to pushing creative boundaries. The album serves as both a reflection on the past and a declaration of what lies ahead, reaffirming why Jessie Reyez remains one of the most compelling and influential artists of her generation.
