Upcoming Swedish metalcore band Imminence recently released their newest single “Death Shall Have No Dominion”, their heaviest song yet. This is their first release following their April 2024 album The Black, which was a breakthrough record for the band’s career. With their first full US headliner tour and many sold-out shows, a fully sold-out European tour in October, and their fully sold-out first Australian headliner tour, 2024 proved to be a successful year for Imminence as they became one of the fastest growing bands in the current metal scene. With their latest brutal release, Imminence is continuing to make a name for themselves. Watch the music video for “Death Shall Have No Dominion” HERE.

“Death Shall Have No Dominion” sees Imminence going into pure deathcore territory, full of brutal screams and intense, heavy breakdowns. The intensity of the track is complemented by violin melodies performed by vocalist Eddie Berg, which adds a haunting quality to the song. The track shows that there’s deeper, more vicious territory to be explored within The Black, gathering inspiration from Scandinavian black and death metal bands. A stark contrast to past Imminence songs, the band has proven that they are not afraid to take risks with their sound and experiment with different genres. Fans can expect the unexpected with Imminence, and the band will surely make 2025 an even bigger year for them than 2024.

"Just when you might have thought that you knew what to expect, we turn around and give you a new single. And not any kind of single. I honestly don't think there has ever been a more extreme track coming from this band. We want to show you that The Black goes deeper and darker than you could ever imagine, and we intend to take you there with us," mentions guitarist Harald Barrett.

With over 400,000,000 total streams, millions of followers across online platforms, and many sold-out shows across the world, Imminence also will celebrate the 10-year anniversary of their debut album I with their first European arena headline shows, following a re-recording of the album titled The Reclamation of I that was released in December 2024. The massive show concept titled “The Black Finale” will take place in select cities in 2025. The band is also set to tour soon in Scandinavia with their “The Black Tour: Scandinavia 2025” and then a North American headliner “The Return of the Black Tour” beginning in March.

Imminence will be embarking on their US tour starting March 8, with Landmvrks and Jiluka as support. Get tickets HERE.
