ICE NINE KILLS to Provide Official Song for TERRIFIER 3 Movie

On September 15th, the final day of their third annual convention Silver Scream Con, horror-inspired metal band Ice Nine Kills broke the news of their collaboration with the team behind the anticipated slasher film Terrifier 3, providing an official song for the film as well as a music video.

The upcoming single, titled “A Work of Art”, is inspired by the Terrifier franchise and its iconic, brutal character Art the Clown, and will be featured in the film. The 7-minute long music video premiered at Fantastic Fest along with the world premiere film on September 19th, and will be showing in select AMC theaters nationwide on October 10th, a day before the official theatrical premiere of Terrifier 3

The Terrifier franchise gave us Art the Clown, the greatest new horror icon in decades,” says frontman Spencer Charnas, “We are beyond honored by the invitation to play within the viciously delightful universe Damien Leone and his incredible team have created. The Art and INK fanbases are one and the same, and we heard the screams for this collaboration loud and clear.

The video for “A Work of Art” is directed by Jensen Noen, who has directed several Ice Nine Kills videos in the past, including all videos from their recent album cycle, and was written by Spencer Charnas and Andrew Justin Smith. It stars David Howard Thornton, who plays Art the Clown in the Terrifier franchise, Leah Voysey (Terrifier 2), Catherine Corcoran (Terrifier), Sirius XM’s Jose Mangin and Vincent Rockwell, Richard Christy (drummer for Death, Control Denied, and Charred Walls of the Damned), and System of a Down’s Shavo Odadjian. The special FX were done by Emmy award-winning effects artist Christopher Nelson (American Horror Story, Suicide Squad, Halloween Ends), who also worked on Terrifier 3.
