Psychotic heavy metal band Ice Nine Kills is set to take off their headlining tour this upcoming Spring. Today on March 6th, 2025, the band has just announced who will be joining them on this bloody journey in Horrorwood.
Each city will receive a two day performance, which includes night one with Ice Nine Kills performing 'The Silver Scream' album played in full. On night two, they are set to perform the entire 'Welcome To Horrorwood: The Silver Scream 2' album in full. For night one, they have just announced that The Word Alive, The Funeral Portrait and Melrose Avenue will be kicking off the night before Ice Nine Kills makes their terrifying performance. Night two will have Hail The Sun, TX2 as well as Dark Divine showing Ice Nine Kills fans what true horror is made of.
This past September, Ice Nine Kills has made an absolutely terrifying collaboration with the Terrifier franchise. The band last fall has released their latest track, known as "A Work Of Art", which was featured in the most recent film, 'Terrifier 3'. "A Work Of Art" is based off Art The Clown and the brutal slaying that took place in Miles County. The production with the music video that was released had the actor who played as Art known as David Thornton. In the music video, it takes place at a concert venue where Art is looking for violence. I will say as a horror movie fan myself, I was kind of grossed out by the amount of fake blood and the gore that was used in the video, but Ice Nine Kills however knows how to thrill their fans. The song featured Shavo Odadjian, (System Of A Down), as well as Leah Voysey who filled her role as the Clown Cafe lady. What was very cool was how they took the melody from the Clown Cafe lyrics and turned it into their own pre-breakdown call out. Overall, if you love the franchise and want to get into metal music, Ice Nine Kills is known for turning horror movies into songs.
