British rock and roll band Hot Milk are on a hot streak with their build up to their next full length release. The album ‘Corporation P.O.P.' is due out everywhere on June 27, and the band has been dishing out banger after banger of songs as singles from this record. First came the explosive ‘90 Seconds To Midnight’ bringing the apocalyptic end of the world vibes on the table. Then came the equally hard hitting ‘Swallow This’. Keeping up with that theme and traditions of heavy vibes all around comes ‘Insubordinate Ingerland’.

Listen to ‘Insubordinate Ingerland’ here.

Vocalist Han Mee touched on the inception of this song stating that it was lyrically the fastest they’ve ever written a song. It’s a nice mix of an English anthem while also questioning who they are in a world of identity politics, classism, and all other sorts of things that keep them questioning where they belong. Ironically, Han had the title of this song tattooed on her in a stick n poke fashion already, and one day decided “Fuck it, let’s turn my stupid stick n poke into a song”.

Their sophomore album is only a few weeks away, and the band just finished a tour with Magnolia Park in the U.S. While they currently are just on the Long Beach dates for the returning Vans Warped Tour as well as Louder Than Life in Louisville and Aftershock in Sacramento, Hot Milk is sure to announce loads more shows in the near future. You can pre-order the album here.
