HOT MILK Announce New Album "Corporation P.O.P" + Share Video For New Single "90 Seconds To Midnight”

U.K. based pop punk/pop rock act Hot Milk have announced their sophomore album titled Corporation P.O.P and with that has been the release of the single titled “90 Seconds To Midnight.” Fronted by Han Mee, the band is expanding their sound from a more happy go lucky pop rock sound to a more angry and explosive punk rock feel. While the sound has expanded from their earlier work, the track and overall direction is sure to please longtime fans with this exciting punchy and riffy track.

The catchiness of this track is not to be understated from the lead guitar lick, to the melody in the chorus, to the explosive breakdown that hits on all levels instrumentally and vocally. If this is a sign where the rest of the album is going to go, then it is sure to leave loads of optimism within the fandom that this band will be elevating their sound and songwriting to new levels. Throughout their history, they have had a spot in the pop rock/pop punk space, but this seems like it could transcend that sound for arenas likely being shoe-ins for an opening spot for the likes of Green Day, Muse, Deftones, and more. That task alone is something that this band is more than capable of taking on having already opened UK and Europe stadiums in the past for Foo Fighters as well as NFL stadiums in the states for Blink-182.

The video has that true apocalyptic scenario that you want out of this song containing such visuals as dumpster fires, aircrafts speeding in the air, and nuclear war headlines spewing out on newspapers. The band is featured heavily playing throughout various corners as well as a convenience store, with children in oxygen tanks and angry protestors hanging out close by.

The new album is slated for release on June 27. Hot Milk have also announced various tour dates where they will be headlining various venues in the UK as well as co-headlining with Magnolia Park in the U.S. It is sure to be a tour worth getting tickets for as soon as possible.
