Greta Van Fleet Announce 2027 Into The Beginning North American and European Tour
Greta Van Fleet are heading back on the road in 2027, announcing a massive North American and European headline tour that will take the GRAMMY-winning rock band across more than 50 cities.
The Into The Beginning Tour will launch February 3 at Enmarket Arena in Savannah, Georgia, before traveling across the United States, Europe, Canada, and the United Kingdom. The 59-date run will include stops in Chicago, Brooklyn, Detroit, Dallas-Fort Worth, Berlin, Milan, Amsterdam, Paris, London, Laval, Toronto, and numerous other cities before concluding July 31 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
The tour announcement arrives ahead of the band's fifth studio album, PALACE FOR THE PEOPLE, which is scheduled for release October 9 through LAVA/Republic Records (pre-order here). The upcoming record marks another step in Greta Van Fleet's ongoing evolution, combining the band's blues-influenced rock foundation with a broader and more expansive approach to songwriting and production.
The latest preview of the album comes from "Tear It Down" which follows previously released tracks "Play Your Games" and "Saw You Stand." The band also performed "Play Your Games" on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, offering an early glimpse into the new material.
PALACE FOR THE PEOPLE explores themes of humanity, connection, resilience, and transcendence while continuing the band's interest in building music that feels both personal and expansive. Across the record, Greta Van Fleet lean into powerful vocals, massive guitar riffs, intricate solos, and a more dynamic production style.
The album was recorded after the band spent time writing together in a remote cabin in Tennessee. That environment gave the four members an opportunity to develop the songs away from the pressures of touring and allowed the chemistry between them to remain central to the recording process. For the first time, Greta Van Fleet worked with producer Mike Elizondo, whose previous credits include Turnstile, Eminem, Fiona Apple, and Dr. Dre. The collaboration helped the band shape what they describe as another major creative step in their development.
The band will also perform a series of intimate shows at The Basement East in Nashville during the first three Saturdays of October, giving fans an opportunity to hear material from PALACE FOR THE PEOPLE in a much smaller setting before the 2027 world tour begins.
The Into The Beginning Tour will feature a rotating lineup of special guests. Arc De Soleil and Edgehill will appear on select North American dates, while The Kooks and Luna Li, Sana Sana Musica, Portugal. The Man and Sun Room, and Portugal. The Man and Friko will support other portions of the run. Larkin Poe will join the European dates.
Greta Van Fleet are also emphasizing a straightforward ticketing model for the new tour. Tickets will be sold at face value plus fees through primary ticket sellers, with no platinum tickets being offered. North American fans can register for the band's Fan Presale, while eligible Spotify Premium subscribers may also receive access to Reserved by Spotify tickets.
North American Fan Presale access begins October 13 at 9 a.m. local time, followed by the general onsale October 15 at 10 a.m. local time. European Fan Presale access begins October 7 at 10 a.m. local time, with general onsale following October 9 at 10 a.m. local time.
PALACE FOR THE PEOPLE will feature 13 tracks, beginning with "Into the Beginning" and "Tear It Down" before moving through songs including "Heart and the Beat", "Field of Stars", "Play Your Games", "Dreams You Hold", "Saw You Stand", and others.
The new album and tour continue a story that has taken Greta Van Fleet from the Michigan club circuit to a global rock audience. With PALACE FOR THE PEOPLE on the way and the Into The Beginning Tour stretching from February through July 2027, the band are preparing for another major chapter in their career.
