Alabama-based band Gideon has never been afraid to speak their mind. They proved this even more so with their latest single “Wrong One”. You can watch the music video for it here!
When asked about the single, the band commented, “We wrote this song at a time when we were simply fed up with always giving folks the benefit of the doubt. Never mistake kindness for weakness.”
This message certainly comes across in this song. If you are looking for your next pump up or gym song, this is the one for you. From the vocal delivery to the instrumentals, Gideon is pissed… and fans should love it!
This song is the second single the band has released this year. Earlier this summer, Gideon released their first single, “Till the Wheels Fall Off”. With that single, they announced they signed with Sumerian Records. “Wrong One” is now the second single to come out from the band with their new record label. It seems like the band is going in the right direction, for these have been two fantastic songs.
Looking at both cover arts for the two singles, it is clear that they go with each other in one way or another. It feels like the band is leading up to a bigger release, be it an EP or their latest album. Either way, Gideon is moving in a great direction.
