FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH ANNOUNCE LANDMARK TENTH STUDIO ALBUM LEGACY & 20TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR

Twenty years after first emerging as one of modern hard rock's most formidable forces, multi-platinum band Five Finger Death Punch are celebrating their legacy while setting their sights firmly on the future. Today, the band announces their highly anticipated tenth studio album, Legacy, arriving digitally on July 31, with CD, vinyl, and cassette editions following on September 18.

Coinciding with the announcement, Five Finger Death Punch have unveiled the powerful new single "De Oppresso Liber," a driving anthem that reflects the band's signature intensity while reinforcing the themes of resilience, purpose, and perseverance that have defined their career. The track follows lead single "Eye Of The Storm," which has already become one of the band's biggest recent successes, climbing into the Top 5 at Rock Radio while generating more than 3.9 million Spotify streams and 1.6 million YouTube views.

For founding guitarist Zoltan Bathory, Legacy represents far more than another album release. It captures twenty years of growth, challenges, victories, and the bond the band has built with millions of fans around the world.

"Every album is a snapshot of who we were at that particular moment in time, and Legacy is exactly what the title suggests," says Bathory. "It's a reflection on the journey, the lessons, the victories, the struggles, and everything we've experienced over the last two decades."

He continues, "What makes that journey meaningful is that we didn't make it alone. We traveled this road alongside millions of fans around the world and somehow became part of each other's lives. That's an incredible thing to reflect on twenty years later."

While the album acknowledges the band's remarkable journey, frontman Ivan Moody emphasizes that Legacy is not intended as a retrospective. Instead, it signals the beginning of the next chapter.

"Legacy isn't about looking backward," Moody explains. "Twenty years is a milestone, not a destination. We're incredibly proud of this record because it captures everything people love about Five Finger Death Punch while also pointing toward where we're headed next."

He adds, "Our philosophy has always been that this journey doesn't come with a self-imposed ceiling. Every goal we've reached simply revealed another horizon beyond it. We never believed the sky was the limit—if anything, it's where the true journey begins. Here's to our shared legacy."

Bathory also shared the inspiration behind the album's newest single.

"'De Oppresso Liber' is more than just a motto," he says. "It's a philosophy. It represents a willingness to stand between danger and those who cannot defend themselves. Throughout history there have always been people willing to accept that responsibility. This song is our way of paying respect to that mindset."

Early reactions to the band's latest material have been overwhelmingly positive. Revolver praised "Eye Of The Storm" as "huge," highlighting its crushing riffs and melodic edge, while Loudwire described it as "a driving, furious banger" that launches Five Finger Death Punch's new album cycle in commanding fashion.

To celebrate the release of Legacy, Five Finger Death Punch will embark on their massive 20th Anniversary World Tour, a global trek celebrating one of hard rock's most successful modern careers. The North American leg begins on July 20 and includes 48 dates across the United States and Canada with special guests Cody Jinks and Eva Under Fire. The celebration will continue in early 2027 with an extensive arena run throughout the UK and Europe alongside Lamb Of God and Bleed From Within.

The anniversary tour will showcase songs from Legacy alongside the chart-topping anthems that have defined the band's catalog over the last two decades, celebrating a career that has produced 13 consecutive No. 1 singles on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Airplay chart, more than 15 billion global streams, and countless sold-out performances around the world.

Beyond the music, Five Finger Death Punch continue their longstanding commitment to giving back. Throughout their career, the band has championed organizations supporting military veterans, first responders, youth initiatives, and suicide prevention. Continuing that tradition, a portion of ticket sales from the 2026 North American tour will benefit high-performance programs for U.S. Olympic and Paralympic athletes as they prepare for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

With Legacy, Five Finger Death Punch celebrate everything they've accomplished while making it clear they have no intention of slowing down. Twenty years after changing the landscape of modern hard rock, the band continues to evolve, pushing forward with the same determination and intensity that first introduced them to audiences around the world.
