firebrand Delivers Emotional Anthem On New Track "Untether"

Tuesday, May 26th, 2026- Cleveland based metalcore act firebrand has unveiled their brand new single, "Untether". Founded by vocalist Gabe Gazic, firebrand combines crushing metalcore instrumentals, alongside powerful synths and vocals that blend both heavy and cinematic to create such a unique sound. Firebrand fully comprises members Gabe Gazic (vocals), Jordan Gannon (drums), Ethan Musser (guitar), and lastly David Krieger (bass).
For fans of artists such as Linkin Park, Asking Alexandria, you will be in for a treat for what firebrand has to give. You can view the music video below filmed by Andrew Delly.
Following the release of the single, Gazic explains, "When you’re with someone for a long time, it can be easy to subconsciously build an emotional dependency for them. You might not even realize it until they’re gone, at which point you feel lost and defenseless, or even like you no longer know who you are without them. “Untether” is about the effects of codependency and trying to break away from it. I tried to illustrate those feelings of confusion and the struggle of reclaiming independence through the song’s structure and atmosphere, creating a sense of tension and unease that builds up to multiple explosive and emotional outbursts throughout."
He adds, "The song also functions as a sort of title track to our upcoming EP, which will be titled “Disconnect” after one of the lyrics. The EP will also feature our three previous singles - “Orbit”, “Backburner”, and “Someone Else” - and will be releasing later this Summer alongside a fifth and final single."
