On August 2nd, the rock and alt-metal scene got a thrilling new addition as Nashville/Philadelphia-based band LEFT EMPTY announced their exciting partnership with Theoria Records. Alongside this announcement, they dropped their powerful debut single, 'Different Faces,' which is already making waves.

LEFT EMPTY is a band that thrives on a blend of somber textures and heavy, unconventional guitar riffs. Their music is designed to evoke deep emotions, with each soundscape brought to life by the dynamic vocals and heartfelt lyrics of Joey Galletta.

Joey Galletta, the voice behind LEFT EMPTY, shared some personal insights about the inspiration behind 'Different Faces.' He said, “Since as early as I can remember, a very common trauma response for me has been to put on a figurative ‘mask.’ A mask that says ‘yeah, I’m all good.’ It’s so unhealthy. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve come to realize just how bad it is in the long run to not be myself in those moments. ‘Different Faces’ is about burning away that mask, letting go of all of the disguises I’ve used over the years, and just being me. Turns out, it’s a lot easier to work through your problems when you do that.”

This raw honesty is what sets LEFT EMPTY apart. Their music isn’t just about sound; it’s about feeling and authenticity. Fans of bands like Thornhill, Loathe, Deftones, Bad Omens, Moodring, and Fleshwater will find something to love in LEFT EMPTY’s unique approach.

So, if you’re looking for music that not only rocks but also resonates on a deeper level, LEFT EMPTY’s 'Different Faces' is a must-listen. Keep an eye on this band—they’re just getting started, and their journey promises to be an exciting one.
