Enter Shikari released a brand new album with no announcements or teasers on April 10, via So Recordings. The surprise album Lose Your Self has 12 tracks touching on themes of desolation, futility and complete despair at the state of the world, with some glimmers of hope and optimism inserted throughout. The album is available to stream and buy in various formats worldwide.
"We’re delighted to present LOSE YOUR SELF, and give people the chance to hear a Shikari record like never before - as a cohesive whole. We want people to go on a proper journey with this album, and see where it takes them. No lead up, no singles, and no explanation. Forcing the listener to actually listen, without being drip-fed ideas out of context, or spoon-fed explanations. We simply present it all, for the listener to immerse themself in. Releasing in this way was also a decision to not be distracted by chart races, or accolades and “things”. We got the No.1 album on our last record. This is simply about the music being presented in a natural way. Despite turning out to be one our darkest and heaviest albums to date, it also preaches hope and offers answers. Shikari will always offer hope, because without hope there is no action. We’ll just always offer it with a dose of realism.”
- Rou Reynolds, frontman
The release of Lose Your Self lands at a point where Enter Shikari’s momentum is at its peak. Their seventh album, A Kiss For The Whole World, secured their first UK Official Albums Chart No. 1 in 2023 and the following arena run featured a debut headline show at London’s Wembley Arena.

This November, they set out on their most extensive UK and European arena tour to date, including two nights at London’s Alexandra Palace, as well as Glasgow's OVO Hydro and their first headline arena show in Germany. Each ticket purchased for the band’s UK arena tour includes a £1 contribution to the Music Venue Trust, helping protect grassroots venues across the country that are at risk of shutting down. Enter Shikari were the first to introduce this initiative with their 2024 arena run incorporating the donation and inspiring artists like Sam Fender and Coldplay to adopt the initiative.
Following their headline run in Australia in May, North American dates are also lined up in June, September and October, including various festival appearances at Vans Warped Tour and Summerfest. Ticket info here.
