Dayseeker Go Into the Pale Moonlight With Recent Announcement

Dayseeker have been up to some very interesting things on their social media. The completion of their Dark Sun Protocol tour clearly marked the end of an era for the band, and it was stated that they would be working on their 6th studio album. The switch up happened across their socials on April 16th. The band's profile picture on Instagram was changed and the account wiped clean, with all the posts either getting deleted or archived, and then on the 17th, a new reel was posted with a very interesting caption.

You'll be brought to an interesting page with a symbol resembling a star in the center, with the letters A through G and an Enter key in every point of the star, along with a bar at the bottom, where a code can be inputted by clicking on a point of the star to select that letter.

If you guess the proper melody, you'll be redirected to another unexpected page and something will be revealed. Most would assume it would contain a presave link for a new song, or a teaser of a new album. Not many would expect to be presented with a movie poster, along with a presave link and snipet of new music. That's right, while the band has talked about potentially working on a new album, Dayseeker might be coming out with a whole entire movie, appearing to be titled Pale Moonlight. The little teaser to new music is short, only about 10 seconds in length, but fear not, there is, in fact a link to presave this unknown song. Additionally, if you try and click through to presave the song, no information about the song is actually revealed. Not even the release date. Dayseeker will be keeping their fans in the dark -- or perhaps, in the pale moonlight -- until they are ready to reveal their secrets.

All this new information begs multiple questions: how long has this project been in the works? What even is Pale Moonlight? Will the potential movie have any connection to the new album the band has been talking about writing? What about the nature of the clues? The band has taken on a Sleep Token-eque style of releasing clues, so does that mean that they will be opening for the masked metal band on the upcoming stadium tour? Every question will be answered in due time, however, all these new projects will keep fans on their toes for a while yet.
