Orlando-based spooky metalcore force Dark Divine returns with their most soul-searching release to date, “Make Me Disappear,” which was released Friday, May 23rd via Thriller Records. Paired with a compelling music video, the single explores the emotional depths of searching for purpose and identity, placing focus on the significance of the journey over the destination. Dark Divine is ready to dive further into the evolution of their sound. The band currently consists of members Anthony Martinez (vocals), Robby Lynch (guitars), Triston Blaize (drums), Cory Scissorhands (bass).
“‘Make Me Disappear’ is a song about purpose. The process of finding and pursuing purpose is the very thing that gives it value. However, we can feel lost when we feel that our goals have been achieved. Where do you go from there? The journey is often more important than the destination and purpose is cultivated by the sense of doing, not necessarily by the completion of one’s goals.”
