Dark Divine Drops Explosive New Track, “Better Start Digging”

Orlando's Dark Divine delivers fans a raw and unflinching message with their latest single "Better Start Digging", which was released on July 18th via Thriller Records. Accompanied by a striking visualizer, the track dives deep into the dark side of modern success culture, laying bare the toxic ambition and ethical sacrifices behind the ruthless "win at all costs" mindset.

“Better Start Digging is a song that describes the shallow mentality of those willing to “do anything to make it... Success at the expense of destroying the person you once were is an all-too-common occurrence in certain industries and is almost fetishized by those who want to experience what they perceive as “the good life.”

-Dark Divine

What makes "Better Start Digging" compelling is its raw portrayal of the slow erosion of identity in the pursuit of empty promises. The track dives into how the relentless chase for external validation becomes a psychological trap, each moral compromise making the next feel inevitable. Dark Divine shines a harsh light on the culture that weaponizes ambition, crafting environments where selling out isn't just accepted, but expected. This new track challenges listeners to examine their own ambitions, and where they draw the line between healthy drive and self destructive obsession. This track by far, is one of their most heaviest and catchy songs to date and Martinez's vocals has so much range with his highs, lows, and his cleans. The instrumentals in my opinion are catchy and honestly makes me want to pick up my guitar and jam out to the track.
