D4VD’s Withered Tour stop in Dallas was, without a doubt, one of the most unforgettable live shows that I've ever attended. From start to finish, the energy was electric, and the atmosphere was unlike anything that I have ever experienced before. The venue was completely sold out, with fans filling every inch of space from every corner. It was so packed that just moving through the crowd felt like a challenge, with barely any room to navigate through. It was very clear that everybody in the crowd was fully prepared to bring the chaos to South Side Ballroom and ready to see D4VD give it his all on stage. This concert was one to remember and has to be one of the best live performances I've ever seen.
The event struck an ideal balance between laid-back energy and growing excitement. When the lights came on at 8:55 PM, D4VD burst onto the stage, radiating energy as the crowd erupted in cheers and loud screams. I honestly am surprised I have not gone deaf yet with the amount of volume that was in the room. He was in constant motion, sprinting back and forth across the stage with such intensity, it felt like a workout just trying to keep up with all the movement. The crowd matched his energy with hands waving, voices singing and bodies jumping with the beat.
D4vd performed many of his hits tonight. Starting it off with a bang performing “What Are you Waiting For”, which was released off his latest album 'WITHERED'. Followed by “Backstreet Girl”, “Worthless”, “Invincible”, and many more. He ended the night with “Romantic Homicide”. Fans tonight got to experience every version of d4vd tonight. With each new song he played, he switched the energy of the crowd, hyping everyone up with upbeat tracks and calming things down with slower tracks. During these quieter moments, couples in the crowd whispered sweet things to each other, while other times you could see people tearing up. It was as if he had autotune built in, smooth, flawless, and absolutely angelic. His voice could mesmerize you in an instant. After this show, I’m 100% certain I’ll be at every D4VD concert I can.
