Currents Make a Comeback With First New Track Since 2023 "It Only Gets Darker"

On July 18th, 2025- Connecticut metalcore outfit Currents has just unveiled the official music video for their powerful new single, "It Only Gets Darker". This track marks the band's first release since their critically acclaimed 2023 album 'The Death We Seek', and offers a dark, emotionally charged glimpse into the next chapter of their music careers. The band currently comprises of members Brian Wille on vocals, guitarists Ryan Castaldi and Chris Wiseman, bassist and backing vocalist Christian Pulgarin, and drummer Matt Young.
