Breaking Benjamin guitarist Keith Wallen has joined forces with Haley Roughton, powerhouse vocalist of rising rock act GORE., for a gripping new single titled “Teeth Marks.”
Wallen describes the track as “about love, hate, pain, power, and the all-consuming cycles of obsession.” The collaboration captures that intensity with razor-sharp precision—melding Wallen’s soaring, melodic sensibilities with Roughton’s raw, sung-scream ferocity. The result is a collision of emotion and energy, packed with ferocious riffs and undeniable hooks that make “Teeth Marks” impossible to forget.
Following the release of his 2024 solo album Infinity Now (Rise Records), Wallen continues to explore bold new creative territory. In the past year, he’s dropped a steady stream of dynamic singles, including the anthemic “Dead Inside,” a haunting reimagining of Avril Lavigne’s “I’m With You,” and the emotive “Us Against the World.”
A prolific songwriter and multifaceted musician, Keith Wallen has carved a distinctive path through modern rock. Known for his work with Breaking Benjamin, Wallen’s solo music channels both the smart pop of ’80s icons like The Police and Depeche Mode and the moody grit of ’90s grunge legends such as Alice In Chains, Soundgarden, and Stone Temple Pilots.
Beyond his solo work, Wallen’s songwriting credits include collaborations with Saint Asonia, Fuel, We Came As Romans, Red, Dorothy, and Love and Death, the project from Korn guitarist Brian “Head” Welch. His music is marked by emotional honesty and dynamic vocal performances, blending heartfelt lyrics with arena-ready power.
After early success as a member of Adelitas Way, Wallen joined Breaking Benjamin during the band’s acclaimed 2015 comeback. Their album Dark Before Dawn debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, followed by 2018’s Ember.
His solo debut, This World or the Next (2021), featured the fan-favorite “Dream Away,” which amassed over 1.4 million Spotify streams. Wallen’s latest record, Infinity Now, was co-produced by Kevin Thrasher (Jelly Roll, RIVALS), Dan Braunstein (Spiritbox, Dayseeker), and Andrew Baylis (Sleeping With Sirens, Brantley Gilbert), and mixed by Joel Wanasek (Rain City Drive, Scott Stapp). The album weaves together cinematic hard rock and introspective songwriting through standout tracks like “Blackout,” “Strings,” and “Headspace Holiday.”
Whether performing with Breaking Benjamin, collaborating behind the scenes, or forging his own path as a solo artist, Keith Wallen continues to deliver music defined by authenticity, passion, and heart.
