Metalcore heavyweights Boundaries have released a third single from their upcoming album, Yearning: the unbeautiful after, which is scheduled to arrive on July 17, 2026 through Sumerian Records. The new track, "Only endless," is available now alongside an official music video.
Speaking about the song, vocalist Matthew McDougal explained that much of the album is built around asking listeners difficult questions and encouraging self-reflection. However, he noted that "Only endless" takes a different approach by simply expressing a feeling rather than seeking answers, leaving the interpretation entirely up to the listener.
The release comes as Boundaries prepare for a busy touring schedule. The band will begin a European run on June 5 in Berlin before making appearances at major festivals including Download Festival, Rock Am Ring, Rock Im Park, Rock For People, Jera on Air, Impericon Festival, and Vainstream Festival. Along the way, they will also perform select dates with The Plot In You, Kublai Khan TX, Bury Tomorrow, Malevolence, and Heriot.
Later this year, Boundaries will appear at Warped Tour in Long Beach, California (July 25-26) and Louder Than Life in Louisville, Kentucky (September 19) before joining Knocked Loose for an extensive North American tour beginning on September 26 in Newport, Kentucky.

"Only endless" follows the previously released singles "Death will follow me" and "Skies cast amber black." Both tracks have received strong praise from the heavy music community, helping build anticipation for the band's next full-length release.
Recorded during the fall of 2025 with producer Drew Fulk, known for his work with Knocked Loose and Fit For A King, Yearning: the unbeautiful after showcases Boundaries at their heaviest and most focused. The 14-track album includes guest appearances from Landon Tewers of The Plot In You on "Crowned and crucified" and members of Make Them Suffer on "Torn wide open."
McDougal described the album as an effort to create something uncompromising and urgent. He emphasized that heavy music should feel dangerous, emotional, and impactful, adding that the band wanted to make a record that fully embraces those qualities.
