Born Of Osiris Rock The Limelight Belfast With Stacked Lineup

American Progressive Deathcore band Born Of Osiris rocked Belfast City Centre on Thursday, 15th January in The Limelight 2 with their “Through Shadows UK/EU” Tour

First up was Larcenia Roe, an up and coming American Deathcore band who are signed up with Unique Leader Records, and hail from Raleigh, North Carolina. Consisting of Ryan Vail (Vocals), Morgan Simons (Drums), Mike Rossi (Lead Guitar), Henry Koster (Guitar). They have a huge sound and with the vocals from Ryan Vail, they truly are a band that makes you stop in your tracks. They played a number of tracks, Including their new song “Lean” and also some of their hits like “Lip Split” and “Unhinged” with extremely unique and gut wrenching sounds from singer Vail. His voice is so powerful that it opened a circle pit in the tightly packed audience. This is quite impressive as they are only coming off the back of their headline tour that had a 23 date bill. They have also toured with Oceano previously in August 2025.

Taking the stage swiftly after, Aversions Crown blasted on stage with their far from home singer Alex Teyen, who is originally from Yorkshire in England. They are an Australian Deathcore band signed to Nuclear Blast records. Composed of Alex Teyen (Vocals), Chris Cougan (Lead Guitar), Michael Jeffery (Rhythm Guitar), Jayden Mason (Drums). Each tune was quintessentially deathcore, with songs like “Erebus” and “Hollow Planet” you can really hear their influence from bands like Suicide Silence and even early Bring Me The Horizon. They recently did a short stint of shows with Thy Art Is Murder in Summer 2025

Penultimate to the main act, Within Destruction, who are signed to Sumerian Records, Took the spotlight with their interesting intro which included snippets from Anime songs, bursting into a brutal breakdown, causing a vicious mosh pit to ensue. They are a Slamming Deathcore band hailing from Slovakia. Their lineup is small, but their talent is massive, featuring Rok Rupnik (Vocals), Howard Fang (Guitar), Luka Vezzosi (Drums). With songs like “No Way Out” and “Survival”, you can hear their electronic influence and modern deathcore vibe. They recently toured the US in early 2025 with a short but sweet 9 show leg.

As the main act, Born Of Osiris, who have recently signed with Sumerian Records alongside their support Within Destruction, took to the stage. The venue fell to darkness, when moments later they burst into action with their song “In Desolation”. With each song, the band were backlit by ominous lighting and as their extreme breakdown erupted, they fell into choreographed dance moves and head bands which really brought the whole production together. We were treated to a beautifully melodic chorus and then thrown back into the pit as the song continued, as the song played and i moved to get some more shots of the band, i was met by a very excited mosher who ended up flying in my direction, the show was mental! As they continued their set they played a multitude of songs from various albums including “The Discovery”, “The New Reign”, “Through The Shadows” and “Tomorrow We Die Alive”. They continued with a triplet of songs from their new “Through The Shadows” album before throwing it back in time with their song “Rosecrance”.

Each song they played had a unique song and we were treated to the spectacle that is the guitar playing of Travis MongomeryRonnie Canizaro was also on fire, with his deathly screams and sustained belches, alongside the clean vocals and bass of Dan Marinaro. Nick Rossi was there to keep the band stable with his supportive riffs and chugs. The whole band was rounded up by Cameron Losch, their extremely technical and talented drummer, with his inhuman double kicks and polyrhythmic time signature, weaning his basketball jersey and shorts, reminding me of a young Danny Carey.
