Bloodstock Festival Announces Metal 2 The Masses Grand Final Dates & Releases 24 New Bands Across Two Stages

Bloodstock Festival has announced 30 new show dates starting on the 19th of April in Cyprus. The shows are finals for the festival’s Metal 2 The Masses project which will see a winner from each show across the UK and select locations in Europe play a 30 minute set on the Stowford Press New Blood Stage across the weekend. This is in an aim to promote and support smaller bands and venues, which is vital for the grassroots scene to survive.
We also have been treated to 24 new bands being added on to the lineup, which will see the brand spanking new EMP stage and The New Blood Stage get a boost in numbers. Day by day this who was announced:
Joining the lineup on Friday, The New Blood stage will see: Void Below, Concrete Age, Temples On Mars and Negative Frame. There is a wide rage of genres from these bands showing off some Doom Metal, a little bit of Prog and even Hardcore.
On Saturday the grassroots stage will see: Imperial Demonic, Chained Saint, Thrasherwolf and Imbrium.
And so far Sunday will only see metal band Overpower, as the rest of the M2TM shows have not concluded to fill the stage yet, but expect this to change massively!
Announced for the new EMP stage that has been made bigger than previous years, we will see a multitude of different bands.:
On Friday we will see: After Smoke Clears, Soulride, Change Persona, Vanitas and Untamed Silence. A mix of Heavy Rock, Prog Metal and Punk to have a variety of tastes on the stage
On Saturday we will see: Trollmother, Cancel The Transmission, Goat Major, Tempest Saint and Dosed. These bands range from Sludge metal all the way to Hardcore and Punk, with some Classic Rock thrown into the mix!
Ending the weekend we have: Wrex, Following The Signs, Stitched, Aethoria and The Cartoon Cartel. With a mix of Electronic Rock and Modern Metal this will be a nice way to round off the mammoth weekend.
Bloodstock has also announced a giveaway for the winners of Metal 2 The Masses in partnership with festival sponsors Engel Amps and ESP, promising a choice of 3 prizes from a new Guitar, Bass or Amp supplied from the sponsors. This is an amazing opportunity for a grassroots band to really step their foot into the Limelight.
And if ALL of that isn’t enough for you, then Bloodstock have also announced a handful of club nights across the UK where you can go out, enjoy your favourite music and even win the chance to win tickets to the festival for a select day of your choice! At any one of the 11 dates they have listed you will be able to jam out to a number of different bands on the lineup, while maybe discovering some new ones while you’re at it.
