BLACKBRAID - DECIBEL MAGAZINE'S SEPT 2025 METAL MASTHEAD

BLACKBRAID will be touring North America in late 2025, headlining a city near you! Their travels will be joined by supporting bands Lamp of Murmuur, Dödsrit, and with Gudsforladt playing some of the shows in Canada. If you live in California, you can catch the first tour stop in San Diego and the last one will be in LA. What city will you be attending in? Not only is this artist able to play in performance spaces of varying sizes and capture the attention of those audiences, they also are playing festivals to even further that reach. BLACKBRAID will be conducting a special pre-release event with Metal Injection's Frank Godla at Fire In The Mountains Festival this weekend from July 25-27, 2025 at the Red Eagle Campground on the Blackfeet Nation Reserve in Montana. It is a festival where indigenous culture and education, sustainability, healing, music and metalhead camping! If you are able to go, you will be a part of a very unique experience at this historical event, featuring sets you cannot see anywhere else. Some artists also performing at this festival include Old Man's Child, Wardruna, Blood Incantation, Chelsea Wolfe, and Converge to name a few! BLACKBRAID's next release, 'Blackbraid III,' is slated for release on August 8, 2025, and they're putting it out independently. A big part of the independent music world is collaboration with fellow artists of all different mediums. In this case, BLACKBRAID chose painter Adam Burke, as they felt he would be able to craft what they wanted to convey. Joined by illustrator Adrian Baxter, who has done other work for this artist. This creative team came together and produced the album visuals for all to enjoy below as well as in person once physical copies are mailed out.
