Behemoth Unveils New Music Video & Upcoming Tour Dates

Polish extreme metal trailblazers BEHEMOTH have unveiled a visually arresting and conceptually charged music video for their track “Nomen Barbarvm,” one of the most dynamic cuts from their latest album, The Shit Ov God. Known for pairing sonic brutality with high-concept artistry, the band once again pushes creative and thematic boundaries with a clip that is as provocative as it is cinematic.

Directed by Dariusz Szermanowicz, the apocalyptic video leans heavily into symbolism, weaving together imagery drawn from occult philosophy, ritual tradition, and BEHEMOTH’s long-standing subversion of organized religious iconography. The result is a dark, immersive visual narrative brought to life through dramatic lighting, intricate costuming, and sweeping special effects. The production balances theatrical spectacle with an undercurrent of philosophical intent — a hallmark of the band’s visual identity.

The release further cements BEHEMOTH’s reputation for delivering music videos that function as short films rather than performance pieces, expanding the conceptual world surrounding The Shit Ov God while amplifying the album’s themes of will, identity, and spiritual defiance.

Frontman Nergal elaborates on the song’s core inspiration:
