To The Grave has released a new single! On Valentines Day the Australian heavyweights dropped their new single, ‘Forced Diet Reassignment’. What says the day of love more like some hardcore deathcore?!? They dropped a visualizer to go with the song that you can watch here.
The visualizer shows the title of the song across the screen as a buzzsaw revolves behind it. In the background you can see images that seem to depict the inside of a butcher shop. The band is strong in their vegan ideals, and this visualizer continues to prove that.
Dane Evans (vocals) comments: "'Forced Diet Reassignment' is just a fun one we ripped off the cutting room floor from 'Everyone's A Murderer' (2024). We tried to turn it into something of an intro to the rest of the deeper cuts that may or may not see the light of day, throwing as many new and old elements of the band into such a short song almost for the sake of it. TTGHC"
This song is not even two minutes long. Clocking in at 1:39, this little track packs a hefty punch. You have your normal gutturals and intense vocals from Evans. On top of ending each word in the last verse on a pig squeal-esque noise, you know TTG was cooking in the studio.
It’s hard to picture To The Grave as a band that tries to end animal cruelty with the sort of album covers that they create. This cover depicts a bunch of blood, bones, and guts on a white background. Behind that, there is a mountain of guts and organs with a mouse climbing them. On top of the organs there are also aggressive tools, such as saws and a knife. There is also a window on top of that, peeking into an image of stables where cows would be kept to be butchered. In the background, there is a glowing orange cross, likely depicting that the animals in those stables will be heading to their doom.
To The Grave just dropped an album on August 30th entitled Everyone’s a Murder. Whether this is for a deluxe edition of the album, a completely different project, or just a one off, To The Grave continues to never miss.
