Angine De Poitrine Embark on sold-out first-ever U.S. tour

Microtonal cardboard duo Angine de Poitrine are expanding their international presence with their first-ever U.S. tour, following their recent live debut stateside at the Newport Jazz Festival. The entirely sold-out tour kicked off with two nights at Denver’s Ogden Theater on August 12-13 and runs through December, with additional dates added in several cities to meet demand. Throughout the fall, the duo will also spotlight artists from their home province of Quebec, bringing a rotating selection of local acts along for the tour. The supporting lineup includes psychedelic rock band Population II, electronic singer-songwriter Annie-Claude Deschênes, noise rock trio zouz and Montreal guitarist, composer and improviser René Lussier. The initiative reflects Angine de Poitrine’s commitment to introducing audiences abroad to Quebec’s diverse and under-the-radar music community.
The U.S. headline run is part of an extensive 2026 touring schedule spanning North America, Europe, the U.K. and Japan. In addition to their headline dates, the group is set to appear at festivals including Fields of Vision II, the KEXP BBQ, Otis Mountain Get Down, Levitation, Riot Fest and Iron Blossom Festival. The busy year also coincides with the release of their acclaimed second album Vol. II. Following the June U.S. physical releases of Vol. I and Vol. II, Angine de Poitrine reached no. 1 on nine Billboard charts, including Indie Store Album Sales, while also placing highly on Top Album Sales and Vinyl Albums. The records have remained at the top of the Indie Store Album chart for eight consecutive weeks.
